Barley – Weekly Strategy Market Update, 10 August 2018

Strong values continue as global production reductions occur across Europe, the Black Sea and Australia. Southern parts of the Canadian Prairies are dry and hot, which is putting pressure on their crop.

We are still seeing strong demand for Malt and Feed from China. On Friday we will have an updated USDA report for the market to digest. New season prices will remain strong coming into harvest. Pricing old season grain please speak with your broker to ensure indicatives are in place.
