Climate Outlooks issued 28 August 2014

Monthly and seasonal Climate Outlooks for September to November 2014 are now available on the Bureau’s website.

Overview

Drier than normal September to November is more likely for parts of the south-east mainland. Warmer than usual days more likely for southern Australia and parts of the northern tropics. Climate influences include a weakening negative Indian Ocean Dipole and near-average to warm temperatures in the tropical Pacific Ocean.
